The ancient theater is located on the west side of the North Street and the north side of the West Street in the village center, facing the Guanyin Hall from south to north. Established in the 16th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty, also known as 1890, the ancient stage has a history of 133 years and is a key cultural relic protection unit in Baoding City. In 2014, with the support of the urban government, funding was raised to renovate this theater building. In addition to regional characteristic operas such as Hebei Bangzi and Baoding Laodiao, many major village public welfare activities are held here, such as the performance of Huimin Opera at the Dajidian World Music Festival (Hebei TV station "Absolute Drama"), the Dajidian temple fair opera performance, and the colorful weekend. This place can accommodate more than 300 viewers.
